Gotcha, figured I was missing something.
I swear to god some polling is basically just made up

If these polls were the result, it would all come down to the tie in Georgia. We’ve got a dead heat, a higher ceiling than our opponent, and momentum. I would guess we got outliers in MI and PA here, which would be good news for Kamala.

With 100 days to go, I am not really concerned by any polls in which Harris is lagging. As long as her numbers continue to rise, we have a chance to win as a predicted favorite.
Agreed. The most important thing was that there was a noticeable bump in both polling and D excitement after Biden → Kamala. If it has stayed static, yikes.
LOL all the arguments about how we had to stick with Biden because ground game or something
Let’s be honest - this was damn near flawless execution on the transition. The concern was edems edemming it up and making it a mess.
Yeah going to be fascinating once we get the full inside story from everyone perspective.
I’m trying to think of an analogy for this and I’m
coming up empty. Let’s be honest not one person here thought Dems were capable of this
To be fair, it took an existential crisis for them to wake the fuck up and remove Joe from the ticket. We dodged a bullet back there.
Kamala just completely bodied Trump. And his fragile ego.
Yeah, she is way better than Hillary Clinton.
Yeah I’ve literally always felt that the problem with HRC wasn’t that she was a woman. The problem with HRC was that she was a bloodless technocrat of dubious talent with significantly negative charisma.
Kamala is actually good at this apparently?
I really was not familiar with her game prior to last week lol.
Iirc she bodied Joe pretty hard at the debates in 2020. It just wasn’t her time yet.
Hillary hate was heavily governed by misogyny, but also she was uniquely horrible as a candidate. Fully unlikable. Plus Rush Limbaugh had been priming his audiences to hate Hillary since the 90s, she was the ultimate supervillain in the minds of low-info Midwesterners. Dems just walked right into a trap by picking her.
This whole campaign is so fascinating, I can’t stop wondering if massive part of this of this excitement is just result of not having a primary. Like any of the major players right now would have been super wounded after getting shredded for something by small percentage of extremely outspoken folks on social media and I wonder how much that hurts everyone view of them for the general
Jd Vance, winning Michigan because he’s from Ohio
