That just means there’s going to be way less of an election day effect on the vote totals going into overnight counting. Early voting numbers are going to be pretty important to keep an eye on from here on.

I think you’re right, it’s a slight shift but it’s enough to get trump on tilt, he’s becoming more erratic which will lead to slightly more negative coverage. we’re in the feedback loop now. This also means the racism and misogyny will also get amped up.
