The pet eating thing surprised me. It’s such an absurd conspiracy theory, and his only defense was that he saw someone on TV say it’s true.
The racism didn’t surprise me.
Believing a 22 year old white woman is MAGA as a default is really really stupid in 2024. You’re like 86% likely to be wrong even when she’s from Iowa and just got rich off marketing deals. You’re 99.5% likely to be wrong when you realize she’s a pro basketball player who spends most of her time around black/gay women.

That’s fair. She should have been pressed to answer questions more directly, as he was.
However, the primary complaint about moderation from the right was the “live fact-checking, while her lies went unquestioned”.
My wife said the topic of politics and the election came up at her office (medical field), and her boss (40 y/o white Republican) was telling all the staff that he’s voting for Kamala because she’s clearly competent. Swing state.
