Am I crazy or does it kind of feel like if Kamala and Walz don’t fuck up, they win? Like, they’ve got the momentum, they’ve got the energy, they’ve got more cash, they’re raising money faster, they’re probably about to get a polling bump, they’ve still got a convention bump to come, and Trump wants to duck the debate.
They have to keep doing what they’re doing, keep executing, keep attacking intelligently, and if they do Trump is going to keep flailing, and the coverage is going to continue to be Kamala and Walz are speaking to packed houses and Trump is saying crazy/racist shit.
It’s really weird after the last ten years or so seeing Dems suddenly having perfect political instincts and executing every move they need to pull this off.

Can Trump get Vance off the ticket at this point? Seems like all that negative attention would feel like a personal slight against him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up replacing him and then blames anyone but himself for making the selection, while also saying that he kicked him out to the curb like a dog.

Kansas. Went something like 60-40 in favor of abortion there, and I think Walz may have some appeal there.
I don’t think it’s likely, but it’s roughly 20 to 1 on Polymarket, and I think it may be more like 7% if Kamala hammers abortion and the Midwestern appeal of Walz carries over.
