man I post in the wrong thread a lot, am I a boomer?
The entire landscape of college sports is about to change in the next week or two. The NCAA continues to lose every case against them. The latest suit is for back damages due to restricting compensation to athletes. The resulting settlement is going to cost the NCAA and D1 schools Billions of dollars. Part of the settlement is also going to be the elimination of scholarship limits for sports. These will be changed to roster limits going forward, but the NCAA will not be allowed to restrict the compensation to any rostered athlete. This means the walk-on is dead.
And while weāre at it, the non-FBS schools are pretty pissed off at the NCAA and power conferences for forcing them to pay a larger share of the settlement than what would be fair if broken down by what former athletes are actually going to benefit from this settlement. So get ready for some fun in fighting too!

The ncaa constantly leaking to Thiel against their bylaws while entire cases come to a resolution without us knowing is just great for their organization.
I actually didnāt think the NCAA had the authority to issue penalties anymore. According to every court case they continue to lose, they donāt actually have legal authority to do anything. Laughable organization that continues to exist only at the whim of the power schools.
Hahahahahahaha lolololololol ncaa
The real lol are the osu and msu fans.
Hey now. Get your coconut fixed before taking shots.
Disappointing that Michigan had to sink to such depths to compete. I think itās more a Harbaugh thing than an institution wide disregard of the rules, so hopefully the ncaa wonāt punish them too harshly. I do feel bad that Moore seemingly got left holding the bag.
Nobody falling for that bait

Damn dog in 2015 I wasnāt even a doctor.
Hey, he brought it up, not me.
Haha you will take us seriously dammit!
@commonWealth we are now rivals! Block S vs block S, color vs. color. California vs upstate NY, just a God and the almighty dollar intended.
Super weird. Iāve always rooted for Stanford in the past against the old Pac-12 powerhouses, and Iām glad the ACC saved them even though itās odd.
Entertaining game so far. Mrs masters from Syracuse. Great drive at end of half after giving up the big sack on first down. Came back and moved the pocket around that bought time and the QB made good throws until the burner lost his DB for the bomb TD.
Woooo! Stanford oddly seems to have a real team this year for the first time in about 6 years?
