Kind of funny how Trump took over in January 2017, then sat idly by and watched illegal immigration skyrocket for more than two years before the “Trump clampdown” began. Trump claiming to have left office in March 2020 is some chefs kiss stuff, too.
The truth is, based on this chart, Trump entered office with illegal immigration at the lowest level on the chart, level with March 2020. He left office with illegal immigration at a higher level than at any point in Obama’s second term.
It is currently up a little overall under Biden, but with a higher proportion of the mix being families and with single adults (the part that freaks out the MAGA crowd the most) being roughly flat.
I also love the “WORLD RECORD ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS” lol…
