This may be common knowledge for others but apparently that sort of Tolkien type visual of lightning striking erupting volcano is a very real phenomena

Now researchers in a new report have unveiled something else: the eruption set off more than 25,500 lightning events in just five minutes. Over the course of just six hours, the volcano triggered nearly 400,000 lightning events. Half of all the lightning in the world was concentrated around this volcano at the eruption’s peak

I was unpleasantly surprised to know more of these songs than the hits of 2000-2009… Why do I know so much disco and Rod Stewart?

haha such an objectively ridiculous show, yet the producers had A-list (for the time) actors and celebs beating down the doors for guest spots according to an interview I heard on the Gilbert Gottfried (RIP) podcast a few years ago with one of the producers, plus Adam West and Burt Ward.

Also I learned at bar trivia a few weeks ago that “hang ten” means to keep all ten of your toes on the surf board

Let us never forget the time Adam West and the guy who played The Riddler showed up to an orgy in character and got kicked out by people who clearly don’t know how to throw a fun orgy.

Confirms that “Herogasm” from season 3 of The Boys was based on real life events

what did you think that it meant? I thought it meant hang your toes off the front of the surfboard like this:

Honestly I had no clue, maybe like the surfer jumps the wave at 10 o’clock? Definitely didn’t consider toes

Definitely toes off the board was the common interpretation in surf crazy Auburn WA when I was growing up.

Yeah, I think Namath’s bar trivia was wrong and The Dude is right:

Mom got me two new “University of Kentucky” shirts as a present. I use the quotes because one is a pretty standard UK shirt. The other is something like…

It’s 100% an honest mistake, but oops

Is that a “Thin Blue Line” thing? My mind’s not even processing this.

Basically, I think it usually goes with “Blue Lives Matter”
