These arguments are mostly bullshit because there was a great migration out of Appalachia in the 40’s-60’s that my own grandparents were a part of. This is a bit like telling a second generation immigrant they have no claim to their parents cultural heritage. Every person he’s related to just about is a full blown product of Appalachia and he spent significant time there as a kid… which is why he absolutely knows better and deserves 100% of the available judgement.
The real attack on JD Vance is that he’s a traitor to his people and his class. He’s thrown in with the likes of Peter Thiel and Donald Trump to enrich himself at the expense of everyone he ever met before he got into an Ivy League school. Incredibly he’s worse than a scab, who at least are often desperate people with families to feed, he’s a mine company executive equivalent and the people he’s from have hated those guys since pretty much day 1.
I was offered something by a right wing ‘charity’ opportunity wise in college, which I’ve mentioned before. JD had even more options than I did and still said yes. As always the cheat code in life is to not have a shred of conscience.
Him and the black Republicans have an enormous amount in common, except he’s worse than them because as a white man he had much better options other than selling his soul. People like him make me hope there’s a hell so he can go there.

A Columbus cop, presumably part of the expanded police force around the RNC, shot and killed a man a couple blocks from the perimeter of the RNC. A local who saw it go down said it was a homeless man known to the area, who was always friendly, and who was unarmed. He had an argument with another man and the police shot him. Conservatives on Xitter saying it was a potential shooter targeting the RNC.

Maybe if our candidate could string a sentence together more coherently, people wouldn’t misunderstand him. I think when most people hear “I got my start at, [college name here],” they assume the person went to school there… And Biden has a history of being less than honest about things like this (ie, plagiarism).
