She co-sponsored M4A in 2017, and the GND in 2019. I’m sure she’ll try to move right in the general, but I also think if she had the chance to get M4A done, she’d do it.
They’re going to throw similar shit at Kamala that they did at Hillary, but I truly don’t think it’s going to work. We live in a different world than we did in 2016, the shit isn’t hypothetical anymore, it’s real. Dobbs happened, women have been voting in force, people like Taylor Swift are involved now. There may be just as many sexists, but the magnitude and organization of the response from women is way different.
Also, Kamala isn’t Hillary, and she’s likely more of a natural at responding to stuff by just laughing at the right wing. It’ll piss them off more and undermine their attacks.

I think it speaks to the change in strategy; Mike Pence was a pick like Obama going for Biden in 2008, a “look everyone, here’s a normal (or for Obama/Biden, white) guy you trust who will be in my administration, I won’t be too out there” intended to moderate. 2024 Donald Trump is very clearly not going for moderation.
