Looks like Biden will win the popular vote.

The polling hasn’t made any sense for months.

And not be enough. Biden +1 or +2 nationally is probably not going to get it done.

Pretty sure that’s 4 poles, not 5.

Do we know how the Poles think of Biden v Trump? I’d expect they’d want Ukraine to continue to exist as a buffer to Putin.

Why the estate tax doesn’t go far enough:

Despite his famous last name — he is the grandson of former Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon and a member of the wealthy Mellon family — Republican fund-raisers had largely not heard of him before he made a $10 million donation to a G.O.P. super PAC in mid-2018. That gift was the first of nine eight-figure checks that he would cut to major Republican groups.

I think I know someone that knows someone thats sister married this creep. It was some super conservative cretin from that family.

Somebody with that much wealth, particularly when they were gifted it - a freebie if you will, complaining about poor people getting freebies to survive really rubs me the wrong way.

That’s good, but overall the poll had Trump 50-49.

We’re ignoring that part. :leolol:

Interesting news out of Biden debate prep camp…

Several top Democrats have issued stark warnings to President Joe Biden’s camp, urging them to spend more time going directly after former President Donald Trump and less time – if any – pointing to the president’s policy record.

The reason is simple: Talking about Biden’s policy achievements is not resonating with voters.

“He wants the credit, but it’s not working,” one top Democrat, who recently shared these concerns with the campaign, said of Biden. “He needs to stop.”

As a result, the economy has become both the biggest priority for voters and their biggest frustration with the incumbent president. An ABC News/Ipsos poll in May found more than 80% of respondents said the economy and inflation were important in determining their vote - and on both issues, Trump notched a 14-point lead over Biden.

In a CNN poll out in late April, Biden’s approval ratings for the economy (34%) and inflation (29%) remained starkly negative

And in recent months, he has backed away from boasting about “Bidenomics” and begun to embrace messaging that there is more work to do, acknowledging that his policies haven’t fully solved the economic woes of the post-pandemic era.

Best evidence I’ve seen that he should push positive economic news.

yeah it seems like the people telling him this are themselves in an echo chamber. there has been zero messaging on this so of course “it’s not working”

The essential problem for Dems is that the world’s #1 media source is owned by an actual Nazi, it’s not easy to message an economic boom when chuds can just flood the box with disinfo.
