Now that I think of it, if Biden doesn’t drop out, there’s going to be a lot of talk about reviving a high profile unity ticket. Like a Manchin third party run could poll at 20% for sure after that debate disaster, then once voters see Trump 45, Biden 25, Manchin 20, RFK 10, it’s chaos.
Or, like, if Mark Cuban enters the race tomorrow he’s probably polling ahead of Biden within a month.

After thinking about it and rewatching clips, if Biden won’t step down as nominee, the DNC has to pressure Harris and the Cabinet to threaten to invoke 25A if he doesn’t drop out of the race. Ideally he’d do it on his own or Jill, Obama, his staff, Bill Clinton, etc would convince him… But if not the DNC owes it to the party and this democracy to remove him as candidate by any means necessary.
The clips from tonight will run in attack ads non-stop from now til election day. Biden glitched out, said he beat Medicare, and said he doesn’t blame black voters for being upset with his lack of progress. Oh and he totally botched the abortion question and kept saying it should be up to doctors.
His odds of winning in the face of all that are close to zero. They have to remove him by any means necessary.
Why even have moderators at the debates when Trump can ignore any questions and tell the most absurd lies without pushback?
Newsom is good looking and charismatic, he’s Clinton 2.0, he would wafflecrush suburban women.
Biden isn’t going to drop out. Biden can’t win. This shit is absolutely positively over. People talking like “oh, so what he lost a debate in June”. He didn’t lose a debate, he unequivocally proved that he is a barely functioning senile old man better suited for a nursing home than the White House. It is what it is, and it’s time to accept that 10% of my remaining time on this planet will be spent trying to cope with the unhinged and triumphant return of President Donald J. Everything I’ve seen is just eviscerating Biden. Very little commentary on Trumps wildly insane lies.
And outside the media, everything I’ve seen and heard from my normal non insane friends is that this was a disaster. Hard core biden supporters posting about how he can’t win.
Trump lying was expected, Biden struggling to finish a sentence was not.
