Biden’s debate was actually the most perfect and brave performance ever seen. He was fighting off a vicious virus and they begged him not to go on. His doctor came to him and said sir, you can’t risk it, you’re too sick, you might die if you go on. And he said listen Jack, if I don’t go out there you, me, the American people, we all lose our freedom.

So what we hoping could get asked on interview that a good response to would actually reassure the country?
Feel like something recent, like having him compare/contrast recent French and UK election results? Might be over the head of lot of population but if he gave a good explanation of that off the cuff I would feel good

This is not a good question Bob. Ugh. These really need to be questions that demonstrate competency. Merely asking him in eight different ways whether he thinks he is competent will not cut it. I’ll be mad if the interview does nothing but maintain the status quo.

It does, because that’s what’s going to end up in attack ads, and him staring at the prompter for 6 seconds looking old and confused before getting it right is not the dunk you think it is. And by the way that long pause is what allows it to be clipped so easily.
This is a teleprompter speech and he can’t get through it without a screw up that’s going straight into attack ads.
Serious question, were they not allowed to have water during the debate? I dont remember seeing a glass or bottle of water at any point, and felt like his raspy voice desperately needed some.

I thought Biden exceeded expectations. In terms of someone tuning in to try to determine whether his brain is total soup, I think he can across as coherent.
Imagining if this were Biden.

This is a shitty answer, and that’s ignoring the part where there are 123 days til Election Day.
