Technical mistake with all the killing she was promising up there, as it was basically a guaranteed provocation for an audience with that level of bloodthirst.
MSNBC hosts were gushing about the speech. It wasn’t the highlight of the week but it’s probably what most normies will see from the convention, and in that vacuum it was great.
Well we all criticized her tone on Trump but it seems that playing it more or less straight got his goat big time.
The debate is going to be good.
Hey, not all of us! I’d have liked a tad less of that but I think she was true to her roots. Her roots are prosecutor, middle class upbringing. She hammered those effectively, she was genuine in that regard, and she did it while displaying gravitas and strong leadership.
My parents will be visiting during the debate, so my goal is not to yell “GET THAT MOTHERFUCKER!” at any point during the debate.

Speech was pretty good overall, not amazing but mostly hit the right notes. For whatever reason I wound up on the TYT coverage for her part, and Cenk and Ana were interjecting occasionally, mostly just “mmm-hmm” and “good”, except for the Israel/Gaza part, where they were basically like “Oh fuck off. Terrible.”
It just shows that Israel is the third rail that she desperately needs to skirt around for this whole campaign, it’s gonna be a big purity test problem no matter what she says.
I mean the good news is that Trump has nothing he can say about it either, so it shouldn’t become a huge gotcha in the debate or anything. She needs to just be bland about it and say nothing other than “We want a cease-fire and we’re gonna negotiate one”.
