There’s no silver lining unless he drops out and I still don’t see that happening. Everyone’s prognosticating about what should happen instead of accepting what will happen. Biden is a stubborn narcissist who will stay in just to maintain his dignity.
This describes my MIL pretty well too. I’ll ask her next time I talk to her.

The media is really putting the nail in the coffin he naps in. They can’t just report directly about Trump and his crimes though.
Except he’s the only one who has a choice. Nobody has the power to force him out and nobody has the pull to convince his delegates to turn against him in a coordinated effort. The primaries have already been run. Unless he voluntarily drops out it’s his name on the ballot and nobody’s going to run against that. How can you pressure a guy who holds all the power? And how much pressure will remain if he fires back and says “I’m not dropping out, either get behind me or fuck off”?
You’d need to convince him it’s the right thing to do, not just for the country but for himself. I think he’s a long way off from believing either to be true. We have people ITF who don’t believe it’s true. I would love to be wrong but I’m tired of injecting the hopium.
