I didn’t know there was drama in Nebraska outside the Omaha district, but apparently Sen. Deb Fischer is under threat from an independent candidate (Dems are not running anyone) and legit has a chance of losing. No idea if the independent (Osborn) would caucus with Dems or not.
He was a registered Dem til 2016 and seems to have a mixture of Dem and Libertarian views. Raise minimum wage, guarantee right to abortion, legalize weed, some pathway to citizenship… But also pro gun, and wants to secure the border more.
Seems like exactly the type Dems should run there and I caucusing D may be the optimal approach.

I am warming up to the idea that Walz won the debate. So much of the chatter is about how Vance’s complaint about fact checking was a confession, and then not having an answer for the 2020 election were both major errors, and Walz’s line about why Mike Pence isn’t there was the most savage punch of the debate.

I didn’t watch debate but if that exchange was as straightforward as the meme then that’s all we need imo. Just hit them with cuts of that and saying Trump too scared to debate if he knows he can’t lie
