Absolutely moronic stuff. My wife has Scottish and what she calls Indian (native Jamaican) heritage. The whole, “Her ancestors owned slaves!” isn’t the dunk they think it is. The real reason they’re related to slave owners is quite obvious and different.

OK um… print/web journalism is like “report on things that happened and also we have an opinion page that is entirely separate from news” ostensibly right? In the op eds you can say things like “public figure faces a pivotal moment” but you can’t just… say… they’re doing it. In the news. You don’t get to make the news.
