LOOOOOL
Apparently multiple staffers and coordinators possibly getting suspended.
Also⌠Pettiti actually made the player safety argument that AD made.
Yeah⌠if it goes down like that Michigan is going to go scorched earth.
And Iâve thought about this a bit more. Most of this is just silly soap opera bullshit and who cares right? Itâs not that big of a deal in the first place.
Problem is that thereâs going to be a push for some kind of super conference in NCAAF in the next 5-10 years, which I think will be decidedly bad for the sport. Previously, I would have said Michigan would have been a stodgy traditional impediment to this. They have a long tradition with the big ten, they actually care about a lot of the less serious moneymakers in the conference for historical reasons, and theyâre a bunch of stodgy old dudes. If this goes down like this, I donât think Michigan would fight it, and that would be bad for the sport as a whole.
So itâll be âArmageddonâ if the one team that broke the rules gets punished for breaking the rules
No, the armageddon is when they out all the other rule breakers.
If Michigan had evidence of other actual rule breaking theyâd have released it
Not exactly. Itâs a MAD scenario.
Michigan has also already released info and evidence about how OSU and Rutgers gave Michiganâs signals to Purdue to collude to affect the BIG Championship Game.
WhichâŚ. Isnât against the rules
Thatâs dumb. Michigan was a massive draw that entire time. Conferences and college football are aligned about making money, period. Is that dumb as shit? Absolutely, but itâs still true. Michigan is a massive draw of money into the big ten, and then are kind enough to take less than what they earn from the pie.
