Harball ain’t getting no contract extension. Shady shit keeps happening on his watch. He wants to thumb his nose at rules he thinks are dumb he has to live with the fallout. Da Bears

Not defenses

-I didn’t know
-Everybody does it
-Hey look over there, they were mean to us too. Well ok maybe we were mean to them first and they were trying to fight back. I’m rubber and you’re glue…
-Look how it didn’t work on this specific play
-Paragraph E subsection 27 says……
-If you punish us you have to punish them too
-We’re MICHIGAN

Back to back to back big ten titles?

Don’t care

Extend for life

Would be Armageddon

LOOOOOL

Apparently multiple staffers and coordinators possibly getting suspended.

Also… Pettiti actually made the player safety argument that AD made.

Yeah… if it goes down like that Michigan is going to go scorched earth.

And I’ve thought about this a bit more. Most of this is just silly soap opera bullshit and who cares right? It’s not that big of a deal in the first place.

Problem is that there’s going to be a push for some kind of super conference in NCAAF in the next 5-10 years, which I think will be decidedly bad for the sport. Previously, I would have said Michigan would have been a stodgy traditional impediment to this. They have a long tradition with the big ten, they actually care about a lot of the less serious moneymakers in the conference for historical reasons, and they’re a bunch of stodgy old dudes. If this goes down like this, I don’t think Michigan would fight it, and that would be bad for the sport as a whole.

So it’ll be “Armageddon” if the one team that broke the rules gets punished for breaking the rules

No, the armageddon is when they out all the other rule breakers.

If Michigan had evidence of other actual rule breaking they’d have released it

Not exactly. It’s a MAD scenario.

Michigan has also already released info and evidence about how OSU and Rutgers gave Michigan’s signals to Purdue to collude to affect the BIG Championship Game.

Which…. Isn’t against the rules

That’s dumb. Michigan was a massive draw that entire time. Conferences and college football are aligned about making money, period. Is that dumb as shit? Absolutely, but it’s still true. Michigan is a massive draw of money into the big ten, and then are kind enough to take less than what they earn from the pie.
