Elon Musk: Making Crap Cars since 2003

It all makes sense now: Musk x Avenatti. The ultimate marketing case study in cross-branding.

From that article:

“Elon Musk is the minimum viable product of capitalism. He’s realized the exact amount he has to do to stay relevant, continually using the media to pump out half-stories based on tweets or off-handed comments, knowing he will never be held accountable by investors or the general public.”

Absolutely savage.

Twitter has placed ads for brands like Honeywell, Discovery, National Women’s Soccer League, the Pittsburgh Steelers, USA Today, and Manchester City on the verified account of the National Socialist Network, a leading neo-Nazi group that engages in violence, has connections to terrorism, and uses Elon Musk’s platform to recruit new members. Twitter’s actions are reminder to advertisers that despite rebranding efforts by Musk and Linda Yaccarino, Twitter (now called X) remains a toxic environment for companies.

Update (7/28/23): Following the publication of this article, Twitter / X suspended the National Socialist Network’s account. The suspension came only after Twitter allowed the explicitly pro-Hitler account to be active since November 2022, verified it under Twitter Blue, and served countless ads on it.

Lol, that’s a residential building next door? Those have to be, what, 10 million$ + condos?

Probably $4k/month studio apartments

Actually not that expensive!

I’m surprised at how cheap these are, I guess cause it’s kind of a crappy area.

Wow yeah that’s hella cheap for SF

“Fuck you, no” remains undefeated. You can see the complaint here; inspectors came back the next day (yesterday) and still didn’t get access!

it’s like 400 sq feet though

Elon did take a $44,000,000,000 L on the “fuck you, no” strategy.

downtown areas actually can be surprisingly cheap. they’re usually extremely noisy and chaotic, I think that’s why. I prefer to live in those areas, idk why but I can’t sleep well unless I hear gunshots and sirens outside. it’s like white noise

The bigger one is 650 for 2600 which is really good for a ‘luxury’ place like that
