GOP Insanity Thread: a bunch of weirdos weirding out

Iā€™m sorry nobody who has ever lived in central Texas is surprised by this lol. Theyā€™ve basically been on a no work strike for years now.

So in this scenario, democrat parents all get free schooling, while republican parents spend extra money to pay for private schools?

I guess, but it also serves to completely insulate ~half the population from getting exposed to reality. Theyā€™ll be sent to if not overtly parochial schools then ones that teach that the US is a Christian nation, anti-lgbtq, anti-vax, censored libraries, etc. Gay kids of conservative parents wonā€™t have a refuge, and no one there gets exposed to any ideas that conservatives donā€™t approve of.

I doubt even half of republican families that would follow this absurd directive can afford a private school. Imagine a generation of MAGA kids homeschooled by their moran parentsā€¦ Nightmare fuel.

Hahahahahaha of course

I donā€™t get the strategy. Thereā€™s maybe a 5% chance the GOP walks away from Trumpism in the future and she becomes a viable anti-Tump GOP nominee. Thereā€™s a 0% chance she ever becomes anything if the GOP stays Trumpy. She should have just stuck to her guns.

Sheā€™s trying to have her cake and eat it too. Stay just enough on Trumps good side while not alienating the corporate ghoul types who put her on boards and keep her swimming in cash. Just the most soulless gutless person imaginable.

Have you met JD Vance?

Remember when libs bought into his bullshit book? Just the most gullible morons on the planet.

Kidā€™s going to have a whole career as a human Disney mascot for the most horrible people in America.

They seemā€¦ shook?

Any state that can get that amendment passed will never have a statewide elected democrat again.

Itā€™s blatantly unconstitutional under ā€œone person, one voteā€ precedent but thereā€™s probably 2+ votes on SCOTUS whoā€™d love to overturn it.

Yeah Iā€™m not relying on scotus for shit. Republicans will just argue itā€™s the same as the electoral college plus some states rights bs, and thatā€™s all the conservative court will need to approve it
