GOP Insanity Thread: a bunch of weirdos weirding out

He’s faking it and he’s a shitty actor. He’s going to lose more money than he grifts off losing it, but he’s not going to be poor.

He gets a ~$90k per month allowance from his bankruptcy according the Knowledge Fight subreddit.

honestly not even sure what is real anymore

Real. That story definitely tracks with her insane campaign videos we’ve seen posted recently.

we got him

Court sets execution date for Missouri man despite prosecutors arguing he’s innocent

Prosecutors!!

The state GOP’s move to the far right after a series of electoral blowout losses continued with some of its harshest anti-gay rhetoric in recent years.

My two theories for this lady are
a). She’s repressing her homosexual desires with great force because she was brought up as an ultra-homophobic bigot or
b). As a child (whilst being brought up as an ultra-homophobic bigot) she shoved a crayon so far up her nose that she gave herself brain damage.

why not both

Gotta leave room for:

c) She’s grifting hard and it’s all performance art.

I’m rooting for C, just because if it’s C the performance art is world class.

It’s definitely calculated, but I also think she’s batshit insane. So for me it’s A, B, and C!

Yeah it’s insane 30k lol.

Part of me thinks just might as well legalize bribery and tax it at 50% so at least they have to pay a fair market rate lol

It’s not that simple. I genuinely think the gifts are just gifts most of the time. Friends helping other friends endure the low compensation part of their careers before they get to go cash in as a boardmember/lobbyist. I just don’t think this image of lawmakers being incredibly cheap to buy matches very well with just how rich some of these people have gotten being legislators. The real payoffs are somewhere else. This is just the gift bags not the paydays.

FAFO

That is fucking insanity.

Gonna stroke out after reading that.

I’ve seen so many times where prosecutors fight to maintain a clearly wrong conviction. But here, the prosecutor says bad conviction but I guess the judges and governor don’t give a shit.

I mean couldn’t they rule on the governors powers without setting an execution date pending the resolution of the prosecutors filing?
