GOP Insanity Thread: a bunch of weirdos weirding out

I haven’t been following it that closely. Whatever they did it obviously wasn’t enough to budge him at all.

Hell yeah, the maestro is back:

Update: the House voted to attach this policy to the defense bill (killing the Pentagon policy), likely tanking Democrat support for it and requiring the always-risky move of trying to pass a bill entirely with Republican votes in a divided caucus (and that’s just to get it out of the House; does this bill pass the Senate? Probably not?).

Those are pretty standard questions that are a lot more charged now for various reasons.

Why are those “standard questions”?

I don’t think they’re super important or 100% necessary or whatever. Generic health screening should ask women about their periods though, and that’s all that it is. That same form asks if you were born without a testicle for whatever reason. It’s more of a thorough generic health screening than anything else.

The House passed it 219-210 with four Democrats voting for it. From the WaPo story on it, very normal stuff happening over there:

Dude is registered to vote in 3+ states? It is always projection

I don’t see how a soccer organization for teens has any need to be performing “generic health screenings” beyond potentially asking families to provide a pediatrician’s note that their child is cleared to play a contact sport.

I’m sure things have changed but I distinctly remember having my parents sign some health forms then being being lined up in a gym where some (I hope) doctor did like 200 consecutive basic physical exams on the kids playing sports. (Nothing invasive)

That’s essentially what they’re doing here though. I’m confused.

The problem is when the main purpose isn’t to find kids that could get hurt playing the sport and start looking for kids without penises.

Sure, but I’d be very surprised if this form was evidence of that. These types of questions are very common based on my experience.

I mean aside from having to strip down to your underwear and have the guy grab your balls. Please tell me that happened to everyone and my hick school wasn’t part of some pedo ring.

Lol yea I think that happened everywhere. But mine was an older lady.

I have absolutely filled out 1000 of these forms and none of them asked about frequency of menstration. My kids are both boys but I seriously doubt I got a gender-specific form from the local soccer club or municipal baseball league

Such things didn’t happen in the 70’s when I was playing youth soccer.

I didn’t click the link, so I didn’t realize it was to be filled out by a physician. I thought it was part of a questionnaire for parents to complete.
