Yeah, I thought Prigozhin was just mouthing off and asking to get dosed with some polonium on his way down from a 14 story building, but I also didnāt realize you could maybe do a coup with something on the order of a few thousand troops and dozens of armored vehicles? I dunno, maybe their force is much bigger than that, but it doesnāt seem like thereās a huge force there. Just that thereās no one there trying to stop them.
That and that Rostov cuts off the supply for a lot of the Russian troops in Ukraine, and morale was already low. How many Russian troops actually want to prevent a coup at this point?
Also controlling some nuclear weapons could go a long way, and makes rumors of Putin considering fleeing more credible imo. Still unlikely but if the dude you were trying to kill has a few nukes pointed at the Kremlin, I could see getting the fuck out.

If Prigozhin is against the war in Ukraine now, I doubt heās going to oust Putin and then invade Finland or nuke Brussels. The chaos is the danger imo, if a nuke flies then a lot of shit can go really wrong really fast for the whole world, but none should be aimed outside Russia in this scenario.

Prigozhin gave a statement from military HQ in Rostov and said the actions against Ukrainians are ongoing, but also said the number of casualties is 3 to 4 times worse than whatās being reported to the top generals/Putin, and that what is being reported to the top is 10 times worse than whatās being said on TV.
Holy shit, numerous places now reporting that Wagner Group has taken Voronezh with no resistance.
