So this is a full on civil war in Russia now. Prigozhin was leaving an opening to just topple a couple generals and cut a deal with Putin, but since Putin is ordering that Prigozhin be killed thatās probably gonna be a no for him dawg.
So basically it depends how much of the Russian military steps aside and lets Wagner through?

Closing thought: I think this ends quickly either way. The numbers have to be really bad for Prigozhin, maybe 20 to 1 against him at best. Could be a lot worse. So he needs the overwhelming majority of the Russian army to stand down OR he needs to get to Moscow ASAP and take control and/or kill Putin before enough troops can be moved.
He has some element of surprise and a non-zero chance of success, but this was most likely done out of desperation and fails. However, if it wasnāt out of sheer desperation, he likely has enough support lined up to make a beeline for Moscow and end it.
Basically either heās fucked by staggering numbers or Putin is fucked by traitors and the element of surprise. Either way it seems like it has to end quickly.

Well my āmaybe this isnāt even actually happeningā musings certainly didnāt age well lol.
At this point not really sure what even hoping for from best case scenario for world standpoint? Probably just that Wagner leader gets offed as soon as possible and things settle down?

Read Putin speech, honestly surprised he so clearly and repeatedly talked about this being an internal Russia betrayal/etc and not just claiming these Wagner guys actually working for NATO or something
I donāt think heās against the war in Ukraine. I think heās against losing the war in Ukraine, and thinks the current admin is/was losing.
