This raises another interesting question. On the federal charges, I think the assumption is that if convicted, he’d just get house arrest at Mar-a-Lago or something. But can he serve a Georgia sentence in Florida?
I was wondering, is it legal for DOJ to offer him a plea deal with a punishment that isn’t a usual criminal thing like he can’t run for office/fundraise/etc? Or legal system doesn’t work that way?
Not hard to imagine the parole board making some kind of exception for a sitting president, like he needs to be able to do the people’s business or whatnot.

Ivanka got Chinese trademarks for coffins, voting machines and sausage casings. Jared has an investment firm funded by the Saudis who he negotiated with while in the white house. Donald had the fricken hotel down the street from the white house. Hunter is a POS failson, but there’s just no comparison.

I gotta be the “well actually” here and say Ivanka getting a Chinese trademark is maybe the most legal business thing the Trumps have ever done. There’s no real reason she shouldn’t be granted a Chinese Trademark for her brand.
