These old people still don’t get what the internet even is and we’ve had it for a long time now. No one has control over the narrative on the internet. You can push a certain message with a really big megaphone but you can’t prevent anyone else from doing the same thing. It doesn’t matter if the supposedly left leaning news network is pushing pro Israel propaganda all day every day. It doesn’t matter if the surviving Koch brother finishes acquiring NPR.
The pure pro Israel propaganda has a very ‘who are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?’ vibe to it right now against the backdrop of footage of civilians on the ground iphone footage of israeli air strikes.

I don’t think this is true. Companies like google have an extraordinary amount of control about how the internet works and what people see, and to some degree meta, twitter, etc.
