Not sure where to put this as would need an opposite of rage thread. But holy shit Verizon after hours offshore support phone people are shockingly competent. (Guess sad this should be a surprise). But got replacement phone in mail and they knew everything in box and every screen I should see on the phone, etc and got the service transferred with no shenanigans.

Have had very good luck with Verizon tech support, both wireless and Fios.
But the best was Comcast 15 years ago. Chat support from Jesus. I mean how do you top that. My wife was waiting for my sacrilege when I got done and said “Now I have a friend in Jesus”.
(Hey it was just typed on the screen, I can assume any pronunciation I want).
I’ve always gotten decent service from Verizon, but getting it from Comcast does take a divine miracle.
