Guys, it’s over. Doesn’t matter if he stays, doesn’t matter if he goes. I think he should resign today because like, he isn’t fit for office. But make no mistake, this shit was over 10 minutes into that debate. There are like 10 different paths that’ll take us to November, but they all lead to President Donald J. Trump, part deux. We’ll let our hopes get raised a few times between now and then, and there will be some twists and turns. But the destination is programmed into the GPS, and grandpa doesn’t have any idea how to make that lady stop telling him which way to go.
It says a lot about our politics that people are basically okay with Republican talking points, but when you frame it like it’s a sinister conspiracy, they don’t like them.

Gotta admit I’m shook by AOC being all in for Biden. Guess she’s been around long enough to become the villain. It’s hopeless folks.
the best I can think of is that A) she knows nothing she says is going to have an impact on Biden either way and B) if she publicly calls for him to step down everyone will blame “the left” for anything bad that happens (they’ll do this anyway though)

She also might genuinely believe that while WA(probably)AF with Biden, the odds will be somehow even worse with Kamala. I’d say she has access to some internal polling or something, but in that case there wouldn’t be so many others (who presumably have this same data) asking him to step down.
It’s an insane level of hypocrisy to support Biden from a group of people who spent years talking about how unfit Trump was. It also undermines the Dems only platform which is centered around Trump’s unfitness.
At this point only losing 20 seats would feel like a win to me.

Yep, not only is Biden tanking our chances for 2024, he is poisoning the well for the next generation of Ds that have to pretend to believe that he is fit for office.
If you are convinced that Biden is 100% not stepping down, then unifying behind as soon as possible maximizes his win equity.

Biden is basically running into the dragon’s den screaming Leeeeeeroy Jenkins, and then a quarter of the party follows him. You either let them face certain death or run in after them and give it your best.

Yeah she’s a league of legends player. There’s plenty of situations where one of your teammates makes a terrible decision… and you not immediately going in with them will make it 500% worse.
This is kind of like when you catch a poker player thinking in ranges.
If you know anything about WI politics, there’s never been a poll that’s shown it’s more over than this. That Baldwin +5 is likely spot on, so Biden being -6 in the same poll is brutal. WI is way more likely a must win to have any path than it is a tipping point.

Him not running 10 points behind Baldwin when the election actually rolls around is worse. You get why that’s worse, right?
