I don’t believe for a second that NY’s electoral votes are in play, but this is damning (and I 100% do believe it):

“It’s never been more important for a Democratic House member to focus on building their own local brand and to run on that,” the person said. “Biden isn’t going to be handing out coattails no matter what. He’s only got anchors.”
It’s bad enough that the presidential race is all about Biden’s fitness. If that becomes the top issue in Senate and House races…yikes.
New York is absolutely in play.
They definitely are.
There’s going to be a dynamic, if Biden stays on the ticket, where safe blue state Dems feel free to vote their conscience and safe blue state Republicans who normally may stay home feel excited to turn Insert Safe Blue State Here red.

If NY is in play the election is already lost.
Rs win NY is at 8% on polymarket so I’d recommend backing up the truck if you think it’s really in play.
The Clooney piece matters imo.

It’s definitely helpful to have someone famous, reputable, and respected point out that the emperor is, in fact, naked.
Unless they really are successfully hiding some genuinely organized plan behind the scenes stuff feels like all too late unless Biden falls and can’t get up in front of a crowd at this point.

This is a perfect description of a push poll dude. You couldn’t design a set of questions to bias against Biden more than this poll.
On this we agree. Interestingly it’s also my main gripe with polling questions in general. I’ve rarely read a polling question I didn’t hate. I think it might be impossible to ask a person a question without influencing the response with that question.
