I think it’s clear to everyone except Joe Biden that he’s fucking done. I’m not even 100% sure he survives the convention if he doesn’t drop out with Nancy, Jeffries and basically every senator other than Fetterman being out.

I might believe for the first time that it’s better than 50/50 that Biden drops.
It did surprise me to hear Ezra Klein say that zero Democrats actually think Biden can win. They are just weighing the personal cost of speaking out versus how bad they think a Trump presidency will actually be. If that’s true, there could be some serious momentum behind these calls for Biden to drop.

I do not believe that shit for a second. It’s exactly the shock type result I’d leak if I wanted Biden out. It’s not supported by anything else.
If you’re a dem member of congress, and you don’t think Biden can win, what’s the possible cost of calling for Biden to withdraw? It’s not like Hunter is going to have any influence in the party after Joe is gone. I can’t imagine who loathes Hunter more, Hillary or Axlerod and the porta jons.
Yeah they clearly want Biden out but I don’t believe they think he’s a huge dog to win. Otherwise they’d put their names on calling for him to drop. Maybe the money drying up, there’s some other explanation.
