Biden could not allow this while continuing a campaign, it undercuts him on his age/cognition and makes it look like Kamala is actually calling the shots. Thus, this is a strong signal that he’s dropping out.

I agree he is done but Harris went to the Ukraine summit w/o Biden with all the other heads of state so not like first foray into this sort of meeting

Looks like the third year med student is going through it

He either says “a black man,” or “the black man,” and either way he can’t remember his name. Also the fact that we cannot clearly understand the spoken words of the POTUS is a problem unto itself.

Yes but that was pre-debate.

I’ll stick to rupar thanks. Saying he can’t remember his name is also unsupported.

I have had company for two weeks and have been trying to stay away from a lot of news.

I clearly hear “black man”. Idk what he said but I heard it.

I think Joe has done a great job given what he had to work with. But I can’t deny that his speaking is likely to get worse, not better going forward.

I also don’t know the right/best thing to do is, but I can’t really view those pushing him toward getting out as unreasonable.

Did you… watch the clip?

Not to mention that Rupar himself says that the correction he is making is that Rupar believes Biden said “a black man” vs “the black man” and acknowledges that Biden could have spoken more clearly:

Ugh, you’re posting that in support of Biden’s capacity? He’s talking about Lloyd Austin and slips KBJ in at the end while speaking hesitantly.

Rupar has embarrassed himself stanning for Biden and probably damaged whatever semblance of a brand he has doing it.

Yeah he definitely says a “black man” but it’s not like he saying that because that’s how he refers to him he just listing off black members of his administration I assume in context of a question that would make it relevant

The issue is it comes out super awkward because he couldn’t get his name out so there is “pause pause pause secretary of defense (pause) a black man” which sounds way worse than “secretary of defense Austin, a black man.”

So he has gotta drop out by Monday right? Feel like with that out there if he continues to hang in we are fucked

Her delivery is much better now than in 2020. If she can avoid excessive head nodding and too many hand gestures (if you emphasize everything, you emphasize nothing) she’s solid.

Yeah she definitely wouldn’t win a D primary but if America wants fascism over that it’s America’s fault at that point

Is this guy still credible? Used to be, working at MSNBC, Bloomberg, ABC. Now he’s with Newsmax.

NYT makes it sound like Pelosi is the one who actually had the guts to press Biden hard enough to get through.

Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the former speaker and one of the president’s most loyal supporters, has told him that she is pessimistic about his chances, marshaling her knowledge of the political map, polling data and fund-raising to press her case. In a recent call, when Mr. Biden insisted he had polls showing he could win, Ms. Pelosi said “put Donilon on the phone,” so she could cite her own polls showing the opposite — a direct challenge to the president and an implication that he was not being fully informed.

Oh so it turns out all along she can do more than write a stern letter? Fuck you Nancy!
