Was just coming here to post this. LFG! The optimism is palpable. She really has reinvigorated the party.
I kind of wonder once Trump starts losing his mind and melting down publicly, calling her a “DEI Vice President” or worse, how much it’ll move the needle.
But, between breaking fundraising records and these early polls, I think there’s reason to be optimistic.

Walking through a grocery store today, two old woman are talking, the one with a russian accent explaining to the other why democrats are evil. “When I come to america, immigrants work hard and make money. But now the democrats just take all your money and give it away. You see the prices here, everyrhing is doubled. Democrats did that.” And on and on she went. I walked by twice. Then stopped and looked at her like the idiot she was and said “Fox news?” to which she excitedly smiled and said “yes yes!”. I said loudly enough for other randos walking by “you need to turn fox news off and get some fresh air. It’s literally destroying your brain and you sound like an idiot.” She started yelling “no no” as I walked off.
A week ago I would have just ignored her and walked by silently judging her stupidity, and I’m under no illusion that calling her an idiot will change anything. But I’m fucking invigorated today. I am ready to see trump and these idiots beaten badly at the ballot box. I have an enthusiasm I haven’t had in quite some time. Fuck trump, and fuck these brainwashed assholes who support him. Khive rising! I am so damn happy that we have a non geriatric choice.

I mean, doesn’t this shift of young and black voters moving back towards Dems post-dropout validate those of us trying to explain to you why Biden was struggling with them? Don’t the polls shifting towards Harris validate that they were correct before, too.
You can’t have it both ways and you were very aggressive in calling people out before and insulting some of us.

I don’t think Reuters is the group with the crazy ass swings in voter demographics but I would have to check. Didn’t see any breakdowns yet of this one.
Also think it it flipped this hard there was a lot of enthusiasm gap in responding to polls. I cannot believe there would be a 20%+ of the young electorate that would vote for Harris over Trump and Trump over Biden
An enthusiasm gap in polls likely means an enthusiasm gap in voting.
But basically you’re going with the polls were skewed before the dropout and now they’re not skewed? It’s an argument, it’s not a very good one.
