For clarification, Alex Vindman is the one you probably remember as the guy who listened to the call and testified about it in Congress. Eugene is his brother, who was also officially involved as the ethics lawyer advising his brother to report it. He wasn’t as public facing but still lost his job over it.

AZ primary was yesterday. This particular result is, uh, not good. In spite of being a republican Richer seems like a good dude and has been a fierce defender of election integrity. This obviously put a huge target on his back for MAGA extremists.
The good news is that the county Board of Supervisors has clawed back some of the power over elections from the recorder’s office (presumably as a backstop against a MAGA recorder taking control). The board is currently dominated by non-MAGA republicans.
The bad news is all 5 of the supervisors seats are in play in November. So no idea where we’ll end up for future elections.

In Montana, there are eight federally recognized tribes and seven Indian reservations. And, there are 74,130 Native American of the voting age in the state, according to Four Directions Native Vote.
Yikes, this is some of the best polling I’ve seen for Mark Robinson (nutjob GOP gubernatorial candidate in NC). Same poll has Trump +1 so it doesn’t seem like a huge outlier by any stretch.
He is batshit crazy so 41% is still terrifying even if you factor in low-info voters who will vote for anyone with R next to their name.

I didn’t look too deep into it, but the headline of the poll itself said “Stein widens his lead over Robinson.” Maybe their numbers have been off the whole time?
I missed that part, that would be a good sign.
