Meh. He’s the wrong guy for the GOP at this moment. Pretty big fuck up putting him in charge probably. Guy’s our best shot at getting back the house.
I would agree with this if he had any real power. As of now the only thing he has the power to do is say a bunch of inflammatory shit that his own base will approve of but not notice, but that will aggressively drive turnout for Democratic candidates from the ‘not entirely out of touch with reality’ part of the population.
Keeping the GOP full throatedly christo fascist is great for Democrats electorally. They really need to find a pivot post RvW, but there’s no real chance of that because the patients are running the asylum.

Meh, it’s bullshit, the bill still allows gazillionaires to give unlimited $ to “non-profits,” taking a tax deduction and achieving the same result. As always Hawley is a cynical piece of shit.

the article says the bill only limits public companies from political contributions. does not limit anything that qualifies as “private”. seems he’s just low-key giving an assist to certain governors who are going to war with woke disney/apple/google.
