I constantly fuck up you’re and your. I obviously have no problem understanding the difference. It’s just that when I type my fingers default to “you’re”. Seems like a weird issue. If anything I think doing it the other way around would be more likely.
Only very recently did I force myself to start correctly using affect and effect. Up until that point I legitimately avoided using either word in legal writing.
That problem has made quite an impact on me.
