Here’s the crazy part. If the GOP just sent Trump away to jail and ran literally anyone else they would have bought at least a generation of cover for the Court and basically guaranteed a trifecta in 2025.
Every single juror is going to read on Twitter the judge making comments about how the defense should have objected more often. And the judge knows that.

now I’m extra pissed, I got sequestered for a really low-stakes trial, attempted murder that had occured right before the pandemic and had zero press coverage either then or currently during the trial, seemed absolutely ridiculous
So neither the GA case nor the classified docs case will happen before 2025, amazing times. Casual voters will go to polls assuming all those crimes were just stuff the Democrats made up like politicians always do. No one is going to care that he paid hush money to a porn star. Legal system has completely failed the public.
