The Convictions of Donald J. Trump: lol

My office’s very unscientific theory on jury deliberation was that you could expect roughly one day for each week of trial and beyond that you were looking at a hung.

Yes, with a lot more instructions about listening to each other, trying to take a look at the case with fresh eyes, being willing to change your viewpoint if convinced, etc.

Got ‘em!

This time is different!

Ooh, E. Jean is going to get some more damages from Trump:

I think Trump has a point here if his claim is accurate. What’s the rationale for the prosecution going last? Shouldn’t the prosecution present their case and then defense can respond?

In which Trump learns how trials work

Prosecution does present its case first.

He’s talking about the closing arguments which occur after both sides have presented their cases fully. At that point, no new facts are introduced.

I understand and I think the defense should have the last word.

The party with the burden of proof gets to go last, whether it’s criminal or civil.

Wait till i tell you about the federal system, where the prosecution gets to go first and last!

Anyway, excited for the inevitable hung jury because of the one juror who reads truth social and Trumps books. GJGE and going to get in a LOL LAW here before @riverman gets to.

Guess I gotta use my one time for a guilty verdict this week.

We all know it will be overturned and/or no significant legal consequences, I just want to see the MAGA tears.
