The Donald J. Trump — Live Tweeting/Truths & Discussion Thread (Part 1)

These dipshits are looking at RICO charges for harassing some elderly poll worker, what an embarrassing way to go. What do you even tell people when they ask you what you’re in for?

I was at a National DA conference and got to know a bunch of prosecutors from Georgia many years ago. Holy shit the rules of evidence down there. The things they were allowed to say in openings and closings would have been instant mistrials in New York.

He’s either going to be president in ‘25 or die in prison. There’s no in-between anymore.

There is a little in between, spend some time in jail before winning the election.

Assuming these are small time dipshits who got wrapped up in what will be one of the most historic self inflicted fuck ups of all time, simsponsnelsonlaughing.gif.

I mean, I still expect at least some mitigation of these things due to the “But not for rich white guys!” implicit clause, but I appreciate the perspective.

You’re thinking of Wristy Humpton.

I usually like to finish a long day at the White House with a hand dipped ice cream cone. But tonight, we’re having popcorn.

That’s how they get you.

Wristy Humpton became the first person to blow a doubleheader since Tungsten Arm O’Doyle of the 1922 Lancaster Luddites.

Free advice Joe, tactically I think you should take the, “the charges are serious, but I will not comment on ongoing criminal proceedings” line (with various opportunities for shade), and pivot to health care and abortion rights as much as possible, but you should for sure give the medal of freedom to the two election workers defamed by oozing hair dye man asap.

He should have retired when I ended his career in 2007. Now every sentence about him is gonna be a noun, a verb, and the world’s dumbest RICO conviction.

we’ve got binders full of indictments

wow 50 posts in this thread and something actually happened. well done

Settling in with a glass of wine to read the indictment and early on it mentions (after naming all the people charged here) “unindicted co-conspirators Individual 1 through Individual 30” as participants in the “criminal enterprise”. Random sample where they’re mentioned:

Are these likely minor players who cut deals? People who could see more charges? People who the grand jury declined to indict?

My understanding is they’re the ones who flipped. @Jman220 is that correct?

I just want to point out that people of color having been saving our ass from Trump since November 2020. In particular black women. I hope in future history books there’s a line drawn from the civil rights movement to inspiring bold leaders in the black community to some of those courageous people ending up in the right positions and being the ones to stand up to Trump and say you can threaten my life but we are a nation of laws and you broke them and you’re getting indicted.

It’s poetic too, because the people he hurt the most in this country were people of color, immigrants, and women. Seeing people who are in some of those groups be the ones to take him down in the end will be incredibly satisfying, if they can get the convictions.

And yeah Jack Smith is doing his job and they’ll make some movies about him too, but seeing a black woman indict the mascot of racism and sexism in America on motherfucking RICO charges is pretty incredible.
