Name recognition advantage to incumbent not applicable because the opponent is a former president and well known asshole? I don’t understand but I gotta think when the ads start rolling against Trump the numbers will improve.
Trump is his own worst enemy and it will tighten to a coin flip when he is in the public eye again. He’s literally out on the campaign trail talking about how he doesn’t like golden showers but nobody cares because it’s a year out. But yeah, still a coin flip.
Wonder if Biden probably needs to go for the ads saying remember when Trump was president with bunch kids wearing masks, empty roads, shuttered restaurants, etc.

I think we talked about this a bit last cycle, but the US being a declining empire with an economy rigged for the wealthy is a recipe for highly polarized politics, which we have, and for incumbency not being as helpful as it used to be. You want to be a change candidate in this environment, not a “more of the same,” guy.
Yeah I agree with this more or less, I think it’s gonna be like 55-45 or 60-40 Biden in equity.

Yeah, even as someone who follows politics closely (as many of us do) I had no idea until the last year or two that the three-term governor of the 2nd largest state in the country was in a wheelchair.
