I know it seems that way but really they just are dumb as dogshit and the people in leadership roles don’t have any friends who didn’t go to an Ivy League school. Dems are going to wait until weed is legal in all 50 states before they openly decide they’re pro-pot, it’s the most insane missed opportunity in the history of politics.
Hadn’t Biden “instructed” some agency to “look into” MJ legalization issues? Have those findings/opinions came out yet, feels like they would be setting it up for election season

Like these are just common sense, low hanging fruit. Like, if the Dems win by these margins in Ohio they’re gonna be unbeatable in presidential elections and probably have a path to 60 Senate seats. It’s undeniably smart to run on abortion and weed, it’s just blatantly obvious.
I mean this is the thing, though. In the circles they run in, they all think it would be a catastrophe to have too many progressives with too much power, or to have to like improve things for the working class.
Do any of you know a single person under 60 who’s anti-pot? America’s been in favor of legalizing it for like a decade, ridiculous that the Dems couldn’t get in front of this issue.

That’s my township (though not my polling location). My wife has a student volunteer that was at play practice while this was going on, should get the low-down later this week.
Last year, a girl sent in a threat through her ex bf social media. He got detained at first but think they cleared it up with a day.
Best I can tell this was related to the polling. School was off. Only students were for extra-curriculars. Soccer team was supposed to host a playoff game. Got postponed. The elementary school is prolly within 1/4 mile off the same road, so not a big encumbrance to still vote. The extra hour should be sufficient.
